Snappet is looking for scrum masters. Will you join our team?
Improve the learning results of children: that's what we do at Snappet. We develop smart software that enables teachers and children to get the best results. Our software is used in more than 3000 schools across the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, the USA, and Spain and is used by more than 300.000 students. We strive to deliver continuous improvements to our products to support all these schools and students.
As a Scrum Master, you will be part of multiple development teams. Each team consists of 5 to 8 team members, developing and innovating their own areas of our platform. You will be supporting the team to improve and learn to become high performing. At the same time, you will be working on broader improvements within the Agile Guild, collaborating with other Scrum Masters and Agile Guild members.
A day as scrum master at Snappet
It is 9:30 in the morning and you join the team in front of their Scrum board for their Daily Scrum meeting.
… ermh, wait a minute, all of our teams are working fully remote, so a day as a Scrum Master looks a bit different these days.
After finishing the remote Daily Scrum successfully, you call one of the other Scrum Masters to prepare a structure for their next meeting about their Sprint planning. Together you also check the data of our engagement tool to see if our latest feedback experiments have shown an effect on our employee engagement.
It’s lunch time! Your team has decided to do a remote lunch call. During the last retrospective it came up that it is tough to stay connected these days. We agreed to make an effort to also interact with each other on a personal level.
After lunch we have the bi-weekly Agile Guild meeting. We go through our Kanban board to check if we are still focusing on the right topics in order to improve our development department as a whole.
Time to get some coffee and later, you go for a walk outside. While you are walking, you have a call with one of the developers of your team to go through her personal Ecocycle Planning. She lets you know that these sessions have helped her focus on the activities which help her personal growth. When you get back, you check the Scrum board of your team for one last time before signing off for the day and realize that you are proud of your team as they achieved the Sprint Goal and are ready for tomorrow’s review meeting.
